About Us

Growing Generations That Transform Communities

Who Are We?

We are a child care provider that is state-licensed. We were founded in 1998, and since then, we have grown to four locations: Red Oak, Lancaster, Cedar Hill, and Waxahachie Middle. Our staff is eager to share the love of Jesus Christ with every child. Powerhouse is committed to providing a loving, caring, and safe environment that helps your child grow.

Curriculum

We believe students can impact their communities by growing spiritual and learning leadership practices at an early age. We teach these principles using TruFire, a biblical based curriculum that reveals God’s incredible redemptive plan to students and invites them to be a part of it.

Classroom Breakouts

Students excel when they are in familiar settings that help foster social relationships and mental growth. Classroom breakouts include a devotional teaching for the day, snack time, active play, and dedicated homework time/quiet time. Classroom breakouts are a great way to have safe, social interaction with peers.

Chapel Services

One of the amazing opportunities we have to offer our students is a weekly chapel service experience. During chapel, students have fun, energetic worship, and engaging teaching led by our ministry leaders. Our chapel experience engages each child at their appropriate age and the phase of life that they are in.

Food and Nutrition

We are proud to partner with Equal Heart who provides nutritious snack options for our students. Learn more about Equal Heart at equalheart.com Equal Heart delivers federally funded meals free of charge to children at after-school sites throughout the country. They are the largest nonprofit summer food sponsor in the state of Texas.
