AVL Tech

AVL Tech will work under the Technical Arts Manager and the departmental staff as a point person for the support of all audio, visual and lighting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accurate and timely set up, operation and breakdown of audio visual equipment around campus.
  • Understand the technical aspects of the job and demonstrate basic ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software.
  • Track and maintain inventory levels of AVL supplies
  • Understand church processes, follow procedures and complete system entry accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Interact with staff and outside vendors for equipment needs and repairs.

Experience required:

  • Previous applicable and practical work experience in technical audio, video and lighting (A/V/L) production with a minimum of 1 year.
  • Proficiency in various operating systems such as Mac or PC.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of technical troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.

Before and After School Care Teacher
Powerhouse is a before and after school program, located inside Life Schools. A teacher’s work day includes leading students through devotions, active play, snack time, and homework time. Applicants must have graduated high school, pass a background check, and acquire CPR/First Aide certification, if they do not have it currently. Hours are 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm, Monday – Friday. We also have limited morning positions from 5:45 am – 7:30 am. Submit your Oaks Church application, resume, and/or questions to powerhouse@oaks.church. 
Creative Project Manager

Creative Project Manager will work under the Associate Creative Arts Pastor for the development and implementation of the creative strategies and projects of Oaks Church and its ministries.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work in concert with Associate Creative Arts Pastor to develop and implement creative strategies and projects
  • Manage and drive sunday series back off schedule
  • Manage Creative Arts department budget under Associate Creative Arts Pastor
  • Manage and maintain Priority Matrix and Request Process management system
  • Provide oversight and training support to media interns and volunteers

Experience in the communication field such as media, broadcasting, event planning, marketing, project management or church creative ministry is required.

Digital Marketing Coordinator

Digital Marketing Coordinator will work under the Creative Arts Pastor and with the Communication Manager for the development and implementation of the digital communication strategies of the Oaks and its ministries.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work in concert with Creative Arts Pastor and Communication Manager to develop and implement communication strategies and campaigns through Oaks Church digital/online communication assets
  • Develop and implement the communication and marketing strategies for Oaks Church and its ministries
  • Work with Communication Manager in developing and implementing the social media strategy of Oaks Church
  • Manage Oaks Church web assets including domain names, web hosting, social media and other web services accounts

Experience in the communication field such as PR, marketing, social media, and web, social analytics, and generating proficient analytic reports is required.

Graphic Designer

Graphic Designer will work with the Associate Creative Arts Pastor and departmental staff as a point person for the implementation of the graphic design needs of Oaks Church and its ministries. Experience in the communication field such as PR, marketing, graphic design, web development, social media, broadcasting or journalism is required.

Parent's Day Out Teacher

Oaks Parent’s Day Out is a weekday ministry of Oaks Church providing care for ages 6 weeks – Pre-K. Daily duties vary by age group but could include daily devotions, crafts, managing snack and lunch time, and play time. Hours are 8:30 am – 4:30 pm every Tuesday and Thursday unless our program is closed.
