Updates as of March 18th, 2020

Out of consideration for the health and safety of our community, all services are now transitioning to an online or digital format. To continue receiving updates about Oaks Church during this time, text OAKS to 474747.

Instead of meeting on our Red Oak campus, we’ll be hosting services online and we’d love to have you host a Facebook Watch Party with us! This is a great way to engage with people you know while practicing social distancing. Watch this video from Pastor Scott as he shares his heart on staying connected.

Services available to you and your family

Pastor Scott and Dr. Matt Moreland from Baylor Scott & White in Midlothian, TX talk together about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), how to stay healthy, and how we should respond as a church body.

Dear Oaks Church Family,

I’m sure you are all thinking about what is going on in our world as it pertains to the Coronavirus. It’s hard not to think about it as we see it everywhere in news and social media, etc. We want to encourage everyone during this time to be prayerful.  Let’s be in prayer for those who are affected in any way by this situation.  Let’s also be praying that God would bring peace and comfort during this time.  Let’s believe that God can use this situation for the good of His kingdom and for hearts to be turned toward Him.

With the heightened awareness and public concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the ongoing seasonal flu virus and common cold, we want to assure you that public health and safety concerns for our congregation and staff are our highest priority. See Pastor Scott’s video above to learn about how we are doing church for the time being!

The primary tactic of the enemy is fear. Yet, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. [2 Timothy 1:7]. As a church, we aim to be proactive and use wisdom while continuing to declare the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit in these times.

We are so grateful for your patience and flexibility as we monitor the situation in our city.

Thank you,

Oaks Church Senior Leadership Team
